Gill qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and has been working exclusively in private client departments since 2008. Gill is the Partner responsible for managing the Probate Department.

Gill has completed hundreds of estate administrations including administering complex estates that have multiple assets and beneficiaries, foreign assets and beneficiaries and taxable and non-taxable assets and beneficiaries.

Gill has experience in advising on Deeds of Variations in connection with Estates, advising and preparing Declaration of Trusts and drafts well over 100 Wills each year, including "asset protection" Wills.

Gill obtained a distinction in the STEP qualification; a global professional body, comprising lawyers, accountants, financial advisors and other practitioners that help families plan for the future.

Gill is also a full member of Solicitors for the Elderly.

Oliver joined the Firm in 2013 and went on to qualify as a solicitor in 2019. He become a Partner of the Firm in 2020.

Oliver deals primarily with residential conveyancing including sales, purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages. Oliver also has experience with lease extensions and advising clients on equity release. Oliver has recently taken on some commercial property transactions and is developing his expertise in this area.

Oliver has been a keen golfer since a young age and is a member of the local golf club, Ham Manor. He also enjoys playing squash and racket ball.

Kathryn qualified as a solicitor in 2020 and joined the Firm shortly thereafter having trained in a London based firm.

Kathryn deals with residential conveyancing on a daily basis including sales, purchases and transfers of equity.

Kathryn also prepares Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

In her spare time Kathryn is a keen archer and qualified coach. She also enjoys running, gardening and spending time with her family.

Kate qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and joined the Firm in 2022 working in the Private Client department.

David qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and joined the Firm in 2024. For many years David was a partner in a London firm and is now working as a full time Consultant for the firm.

David specialises in the following areas of law:

David enjoys going to the theatre and gardening in his spare time. 

Simon qualified as a solicitor in 1978 and joined the Firm shortly thereafter, working closely with Michael Barker and John Talbot Warwick. Simon was a Partner of the Firm for over 30 years, retiring from his role in 2020. Simon continues to work as a Practising Consultant with us.

Simon now specialises in property law with a wide range of experience of all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing. On a daily basis he is involved in a variety of transactions including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, lease extensions and remortgages.

Simon also continues to advise on and draft Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorneys.

Throughout his career Simon has taken an active role within the local community and is currently the Secretary of the Littlehampton and Rustington Housing Society.

In his spare time Simon enjoys golf, racket ball and gardening.

Simon is extremely thorough which is exactly what is needed in life changing decisions

Michael qualified as a solicitor in 1969 and was the first to join the Partnership with John Talbot Warwick in 1972. He is now a Practising Consultant for the firm on a part time basis.

Michael continues to advise on Wills and the Administration of Estates.

Michael is a member of Ham Manor Golf Club and when he is not in the office he will be found spending time with his family or on the golf course.

Emily joined the Firm in 2021 and started training with us to become a Legal Assistant in 2022. During her training Emily will be working in our Property and Private Client teams. Once Emily qualifies she will work alongside Gill in our Private Client team.

In her spare time Emily is a keen photographer.

Alex has been a qualified solicitor for 17 years. She joined the firm in 2023 as a consultant solicitor assisting the Private Client team.

• Court of Protection
• Tax Planning and Trusts

In her spare time Alex enjoys spending time with her family and friends and time down the gym and walking her dog.

Karen joined the Firm in 2006 and works as a Legal Secretary.

In her spare time Karen enjoys gardening.

Cheryl joined the Firm in 2022 as a Legal Secretary and has over 30 years experience working in the legal profession. Cheryl works Monday to Thursday in residential conveyancing alongside Oliver Kenning and Kathryn Thorpe.

In her spare time Cheryl enjoys going to the beach and walking her dog.  She also likes a good game of darts.

Kim has over 40 years experience in all areas of law as a legal secretary and is currently working alongside Gill and Kate in the Private Client department.

• Court of Protection
• Tax Planning and Trusts

In her spare time Kim likes gardening and growing vegetables. She also enjoys quizzes and bingo.

Lena came to the UK from the Ukraine where she had her own travel agency business. 

She joined the Firm as our receptionist in August 2022.

In her spare time Olena enjoys travelling and spending time with her family. 

Michelle joined the firm in 2024 as a Legal Secretary.  She hails from South Africa where she worked as a conveyancing secretary for 30 years and arrived in the UK in 2019 where she has continued her conveyancing career.  Michelle works alongside David Guy.
